Information you give us: when you run a scan, we collect your business name, your email address, and, where you provide them, your website address, industry, and city. If you ask to hear about an AI-ready website for your business, we keep that request and your email.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic browser and device information. We use your IP address to limit how many scans can be run per day and to block abuse.

Public information about the business: during a scan we read the business's public website and, where available, its public Google Maps listing (for example rating, review count, hours, and category).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run your scan and generate your report.
• To keep your report available at its private link.
• To contact you about your report, if needed.
• To prevent abuse, keep the service secure, and improve it.

3. AI Processing

Generating your score and report requires sending your business name, website details, and related public information to AI providers (currently Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT) for analysis. We do not send them your email address. These providers process this information under their own privacy and data-use policies.

4. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Picked by AI:

• Cloudflare: hosting, storage, and security (including the bot check on the scan form).
• Anthropic and OpenAI: AI analysis for your report.
• Google: public Google Maps business data.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer (for example, if botshift is acquired).

5. Data Retention

We keep scan and report data for as long as it's needed to provide the service, for example so you can return to your report link. Daily scan counters tied to IP addresses are deleted automatically after 24 hours. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Your Rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

7. Children's Privacy

Picked by AI is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, anyone under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
