These terms govern your use of Picked by AI, a free AI visibility check operated by botshift ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By running a scan or otherwise using Picked by AI, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The Service

Picked by AI checks how visible a business is to AI assistants. For each scan we ask AI assistants (currently Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT) what they already know about the business, review the business's public website and, where available, its public Google Maps listing, and generate a score, findings and suggested fixes.

The service is free. There is nothing to buy and no subscription.

3. AI-Generated Content & Accuracy

Your report is generated with AI, and AI can be wrong. What AI assistants say about a business changes over time and can vary from one scan to the next. Treat your score and findings as an informed estimate and a set of suggestions, not a guaranteed or certified assessment of your business.

We do not guarantee that acting on your report will increase your visibility, traffic, leads, or revenue. Results depend on factors outside our control, including how AI assistants and search tools behave, changes their providers make, and how any suggested changes are implemented.

4. Your Report

Each report has its own private link. Anyone who has the link can view the report, so share it only with people you choose. We store reports so their links keep working.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Picked by AI to scan businesses for harassment or other malicious purposes, to send automated or bulk requests, to try to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or to resell the service or its reports without our permission. We may limit how many scans can be run per person or per day.

6. Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Cloudflare. Their availability and behavior are outside our control, and we may change which providers we use.

7. Intellectual Property

The Picked by AI name, site, and underlying technology belong to botshift. Bali Buddies and other third-party names and logos belong to their respective owners. The report we generate for you is yours to use for your own business purposes.

8. Availability & Termination

Picked by AI is provided free of charge, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue it at any time. We may block access for anyone who violates these terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your score or findings are complete or fully accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, botshift is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any business decisions made based on a report.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
